BC Industrial Supply is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Columbia, SC

The Company

BC Industrial Supply is a fast growing industrial contractor supply company. We supply mid-size to large mechanical contractors in the industrial marketplace. Our corporate office is in Jacksonville, FL and have a branch in Columbia, SC and Ewing, NJ. to service the surrounding areas. Both branches, South Carolina and New Jersey, are looking for ambitious salespeople to build a career with a professional, progressive, employee oriented company. This position offers large earning potential, along with a full benefits package.

Industrial Supply experience HIGHLY PREFERRED: knowledge of various hardware, power tools, welding machines and products, abrasives, safety equipment, etc...

Position Overview:

The salespeople will successfully develop and manage customer accounts in these areas to include a radius of approximately 50 miles. Goal is to build a strong producing customer base. This is a career position.

General Responsibilities:

  • Build a successful customer base by utilizing existing marketing tools, along with prospecting and network development.
  • Continuously meet with customers to actively manage your accounts.
  • Negotiate pricing with prospective customers and integrate into our computer system.
  • Reviews all sales, quotes, etc. for customers within your territory.
  • Work with our sales management team, and local branch manager, to service customers.
  • Conduct training and information sessions with customers.
  • Build weekly itinerary and keep daily call reports.
  • Participate in company sponsored training sessions and meetings.
  • Must be willing to service customers in emergency situations after hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years experience in a industrial or construction supply related industry
  • Industrial Supply experience HIGHLY PREFERRED: knowledge of various hardware, power tools, welding machines and products, abrasives, safety equipment, etc...
  • Strong sales and organization skills
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Honesty and Integrity are essential
  • Extremely motivated
  • Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong desire for continued growth and learning

COMPENSATION:

  • $50,000-$100,000 start annually, based on experience
  • Extremely generous commission program with unlimited earning potential
  • Full benefits package incl. 401(k), healthcare, and generous employer contributions
  • Paid holidays and vacations
  • Use of company vehicle or receive a full peridium for use of personal vehicle plus fuel card.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
